The presentation will tackle typical problems and solutions related to the production of titles coming from an iconic franchise, such as industry and fan expectations, pressure from ailing publishers and expectations for a project which will be the spearhead of a new studio in a very competitive environment.

David started working as a Project Manager within a research service in the European car industry, where he filed three European patents and a world patent in six years. In Quebec, he worked as a Project Manager for Mega Brands (previously Megabloks) before working for Ubisoft Montreal. Successively Project Coordinator, Closer, Associate Producer and Producer, David worked with Stéphane D'Astous to set up Eidos-Montreal. With 15 years of experience in management and more than 70 projects to his credit, David took the role of Producer for the very first game developed by Eidos-Montreal. He had, among other responsibilities, to manage the budget and planning, to recruit production experts, and to lead and support a 140-people team.
